ONE”: FUNCTIONAL FEATURES

ONE is a family of numerically controlled (CNC) machines for horizontal glass processing. It is capable of drilling, milling, and countersinking operations on flat glass sheets, with thicknesses from 3 to 25 mm and, depending on the model, widths from 1350 mm to 2000 mm.

The ONE is designed to give you greater profitability,  greater savings, and safety.

Strong investment in research and development and constant contact and listening to customers have enabled us to create a solid machine with high performance, fast, safe, and easy to maintain. 

Starting with the design, every aspect of the machine has been taken care of in every detail so that it will last for a long time and so that you can be assured of maximum convenience and ease of use. All systems (water, air, etc etc…), for example, have been collected in easy-to-access locations. The user interface (HMI), and software are intuitive and schematic to make daily programming and operator training easy. 

It is a machine with a high operating capacity, thanks to a working range from 1350 mm to 2000 mm in width and unlimited length with no limitation on the spacing between operations.

The machine is plug-and-play, and operators will be able to operate after a quick setup. The work cycle is fully automatic and requires no manual intervention.

Safety

Machine body is fully enclosed and has interlocking doors: the operator has no access to moving parts during operations. All work is done inside. Water on the floor is also reduced by up to 90%.

Milling

The machine can mill in various rectangular shapes of glass, ranging in thickness to 25 mm.  
Producing milling operation in the glass either the X or Y axes, it is also capable of interpolating the axes, allowing any possible design to be achieved.

Speed of operation may be set according to the glass thickness, and tool condition and may vary between 3 to 35 mm/sec.
The milling tool can be installed regardless of the position over both DHPUs.

The speed rotation can be up to 15000 rpm in function of the diameter of the tools and the spindle configuration.

Drilling & Countersinking

In addition to the milling operations, the machine can perform Drilling and Countersink operations.

The two opposing multi-spindle Decagonal High-Power Units DHPU, can each one capable of holding up to 10 tools. (mill tool, Drill, and countersink no matter of sequence)

The countersinking operations, if requested, are performed in a fully automatic cycle without manual operation or data input requested by the operator. The CNC automatically manages the desired countersinking depth, for both the upper and lower sides of the hole.

Versatily and compactness

The machine is extremely compact and allows for reduced floor space: and high production in a small space.

The ONE family allows to have different configurations:

  • Operator-side zero reference
  • Zero reference opposite the operator

What is new is that the machine configuration can be changed even after positioning, whenever the plant layout needs to be changed.

ONE: conceived to be robust

Every part of the machine is designed for long life

  • The concept of the DHPU unit is to concentrate all the technology in a CORE system, ONE BLOCK UNIT.
  • All mechanical components, such as the turret rotation and the mechanical block pin, are enclosed in a hermetically sealed box to prevent water and machining residues from entering inside.
  • The DHPU has been projected to be a solid and robust removable block.
  • The use of the last generation of JRS servo motor will allow the DHPU unit to be zeroing and move without the use of any sensor (no proximity or mechanical over-stroke micro).
  • The new JRS electromotor unit allows the passage of water directly through the spindle shaft, preventing the water damage any mechanical parts of the spindle.
  • Linear rails and linear bearings are shielded from water with a special cover and patented air pressure system, in addition, they are away from the machine working areas.

 

DECAGONAL HIGH-POWER UNIT: D.H.P.U.

The D.H.P.U.  is a new concept that evolves and surpasses the concept of a tool turret.

Two opposing high-power decagonal units, each capable of holding up to 10 DTS (spindles), make up the equipment’s CORE unit.

The DHPUs are made of a solid aluminum alloy and equipped with a powerful JRS  electro-motor unit allowing a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm without any vibration, with the advantage of high machining quality and fast lead times.

 

 

 

DRIVEN TOOL STATIONS: D.T.S.

JRS GLASSThe Driven Tool Station, DTS, is a new generation of Spindles: robust, solid, and compact. It requires no daily maintenance and has no internal grease. It is sealed to prevent water and machining residue from entering the station.  It allows a tool change in less than 2 minutes and a replacement in less than 5 minutes.

 


DTS (SPINDLES) CONFIGURATION
The One  Standard version machine will be equipped with 20 DTS spindleA total: 10 on top and 10 on bottom.
8 Standard Spindle: Speed up to 10000 RPM, plus 1 spindle speed up to 12.000 RPM and 1 spindle speed up to 15.000 RPMper DHPU.

 

BELTS CONFIGURATIONS

JRS GLASSThe standard belt configuration, 4 belts entry + 4 belts exit, can process glass up to 280kg. 
Another innovation is that in case the customer would like to increase the number of belts (additional grip) the machine can be equipped with additional belts. 
For example a possible option belt configuration could be: 5+5→ 5 entry and exit table belts

 


ENTRY AND EXIT TABLE
The machine can be accessorized with automatic or manual loading and unloading benches.
Manual benches are equipped with free rollers and fixed glass squaring lines. It is the operator’s responsibility to load, handle, and align the glass.
Automatic benches are equipped with motorized belts and free rollers, glass presence photocells, and loading and unloading cycle management by CNC. The glass squaring system is automatic and can position the slab with a maximum correction of 3 mm.


GLASS CLAMPING SYSTEM
The machine is equipped with a set of Glass Clamping System
A second set of Glass Clamping System can be installed and could be moved in Y axis in manual mode or automatic mode.
The weight of the system is balanced by pneumatic system in order to not impact the glass and the mechanical movement is fully protected and far from the working area and water.

 GLASS CLAMPING SYSTEM AUTOMATIC PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT
As an option, the Glass Clamping System can automatically adjust the pressure related to the router working feed/glass Thickness.


CAD-CAM DXF/STEP import 
The CAD-CAM software is made to simply do the CNC operation and can import the 2D files from the most popular CAD programs without any problems. 
Once the programmer has drawn or imported,  the software will capture the drawing and turn it into ISO files ready to be processed by the machine.

TOOL DIAMETER CHECK
The system can measure the diameter of the tool and report any anomalies to the operator. 
This should prevent the use of incorrect or excessively worn tools; it does not correct the values set by the operator.
